The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal

Sadly we will not be holding our annual Gift Service in December. However, we would still like to support our Friends at The Salvation Army Gateshead who will once again be organising to distribute gifts to children in need in Gateshead.

Last Christmas, we were able to provide presents for just over 700 children thanks to the support from  the kind donations of the people of Gateshead. This year has been a huge challenge for all of us and how we prepare and celebrate Christmas this year will be different but the need to help those most in need is even greater this year. Many people are struggling for the first time with job losses, reduced pay while on furlough or livelihoods disappearing overnight due to the lockdown and we already know the number of families requesting support is even greater this year.
