Join us for our Carol Service as we hear & sing of the special Christmas story.
Led by John Roughley, Local Preacher
The Wesley Worship Singers will sing "What Child is this” & lead us in an evening of festive carols
Festive bites will be available to take away at the end of the service. The church is adhering the advice from the District Chair; that refreshments at gatherings or services should not be served at the moment, unless outside. We recognise that people often relax, take off their masks and forget social distancing during times when refreshments are served. So, to protect one another we urge caution, particularly as we seek to protect those who are most vulnerable in our communities.
A reminder that all those using our place of worship or ancillary buildings have to wear a face covering by law, since Friday 10 December 2021. This includes all people attending acts of worship and all user groups. The Government guidance outlines situations where individuals may be exempt. This can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/face-coverings-when-to-wear-one-and-how-to-make-your-own/face-coverings-when-to-wear-one-and-how-to-make-your-own So, unless an individual is exempt, they must wear a mask.
During communal singing, the Methodist Church would strongly advise that face coverings are kept in place. Current Methodist Church guidance can be found here: https://www.methodist.org.uk/for-churches/property/coronavirus-guidance-for-property/
