Celtic Prayer

I was watching a roman Catholic Mass online and the priest read this at the end of the service. In these uncertain times it made me think!

Best wishes, Huw

An old Celtic thought…..

And the people stayed home

They read books, they listened more they rested and exercised

Some made art and some played games together

others learned new ways of being most listened moredeeply

some meditated some prayed some danced

some people met the shadows and the people began to think differently

and two people healed

and in the absence of people living in mindless waysthe earth began to heal

and when the danger passed and the people joined together again

they grieved their losses and made new choices

and dreamed new images

they created new ways to live and heal the earth fully as they themselves had been healed.

and in the absence of people living in mindless waysthe earth began to heal

and when the danger passed and the people joined together again

they grieved their losses and made new choices

and dreamed new image they created new ways to live and heal the earth fully as they themselves had been healed.
