April: Thoughts from Huw

Dear Friends,

Alleluia! Christ is risen!
He is risen indeed ! Alleluia!

In this Easter season amid the turmoil of pain and suffering in our own personal lives or the lives of others there is a quiet joy and peace. Why is this ? A new element has been introduced. It doesn`t remove the pain but gives it a meaning, and lights it up with hope. All is different because Jesus is alive and speaks his words of peace to us. So, there is a quiet joy among us and a deep sense of peace. Jesus has broken the power of death, and given us the hope of eternal life.

May you know the love and peace of the Risen Lord this Eastertide. Go out and proclaim to all the good news that Jesus is alive, and share our Easter joy and peace with family, friends and all you meet.

May the living God raise us from despair, give us victory over sin and set us free in Christ.
